The Rangers have signed Hobey Baker Award winning defenseman Matt Gilroy just days after he helped Boston University win the NCAA championship. Just one week after the 24-year-old Gilroy captured the Hobey Baker as the nation’s top hockey player, the defenseman agreed to a multiyear deal with New York on Friday.
